How much propane is my home heater likely to use?

One question we often receive from our customers is how quickly their propane-powered equipment will consume fuel. While there are multiple variables that can affect propane usage, we have created a calculator that can give you an estimate of a heater’s annual propane consumption based on its efficiency and Btu rating.

Please note: This is an informational calculator intended to provide a general estimate. Your actual propane use will differ based on external factors.

To use this calculator, simply plug in the capacity of your appliance, and the calculator will tell you how much propane it uses.

The result will be based on the efficiency selected. The standard efficiency for a propane furnace is 80% or higher. You can adjust the efficiency by using the drop-down option within the calculator.
