Employee Spotlight

Heart of Texas Propane's Director of Marketing, Holly Stewart, was recently nominated and selected to be a National Propane Ambassador as part of the Propane Education and Research Council (PERC). In March, she attended PERC's Leadership in Energy Ambassador Conference where she learned about the many benefits of propane, the future of renewable propane, carbon intensity and its effects on the environment as well as the struggles the industry is currently facing.

Holly has worked for Heart of Texas Propane since February of 2020. She and her husband, James, reside in Brady and have two grown children.

John is a veteran in the propane industry with over 14 years of experience, including serving on the Texas Propane Gas Associates's board, where he served as vice-president, and having his Category E certification. He is currently the manager of the Heart of Texas Propane - Brownwwod, but you'll aslo find him out making regular propane deliveries!

John is a graduate from Tarleton State University and has three children: two daughters Beale-Madison and Vance-Cady, both of whom are Texas A&M Aggies; and one son, John Stewart, who recently graduated from Early High School.

In his spare time John enjoys playing the part of umpire at 8u - college softball games and watching the deer from his front porch.

Bryan Rupp brings over 20 years of sales and operational experience to Heart of Texas Propane. His background spans from working with Fortune 500 companies to single-employee organizations in the fields of: High Pressure Gas Solutions in Welding, Emergency Generator Service and HVAC.

Bryan believes that transparency, integrity, and constant communication are the pillars in choosing the right propane service provider.

He truly enjoys working within the same community in which has raised his family for the past 12 years.

Kim is a Mason native who’s proud to serve the good people of the Mason and surrounding areas. After graduating from Mason High School, she went on to business school in Austin before returning to her hometown.

Kim raised two daughters in Mason, Amber and Ashley, and has been active in many youth activities, including softball and basketball. She taught Sunday School and was a youth leader at St. Paul Lutheran Church for almost 20 years.

When she’s not providing excellent service to her customers, Kim enjoys her six greatest treasures–her grandchildren: Rose, Nevaeh, Adley, Teagan, Ty and Huxen.

Kim has been in the propane business for 25 years and looks forward to many more!

Meet Michael Rodriguez. He grew up in Goldthwaite and graduated from Goldthwaite High School in 1996. He now lives in Lampasas with his wife, Ashliegh, and their two kids, Sienna and Adrian. Michael enjoys coaching his kids in youth sports, baseball/softball, football, soccer, and anything else they like to do. He is also the Youth Pastor at Christ the Rock in Lampasas.

Michael has been with Heart of Texas Propane (formerly Geeslin Gas Co.) for 22 years. When he started, he said he knew very little about certain tools and nothing about propane. Throughout the years with some training, he has learned a lot and recently even earned is Category E certification.

Michael is the the regional manager of the north division, which includes stores in Goldthwaite, San Saba, Brownwood, and Brady.
