While Heart of Texas Propane handles your portable propane tank once you bring it in, you need to ensure it gets to us safely. Here are some tips and safety protocols to follow:

• Keep tanks in an upright position at all times.
• The best spot for propane cylinders that are being transported in a vehicle is a flatbed. However, if this isn’t an option, keep them upright in a secure spot in your vehicle so that they don’t move around.
• Don’t leave a filled tank in your car for any amount of time.

Fill Up Your Propane Cylinders at Heart of Texas Propane

The Heart of Texas refill locations are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and our location in Kerrville/Hunt-Ingram is also open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. When you bring your propane cylinders to be refilled at Heart of Texas Propane, we’ll even inspect them to make sure they haven’t expired. Any expired tanks will be replaced.
