GasWatch Propane Tank Gauges

GasWatchTM makes propane tank gauges and other products designed for use with gas grills, RV and boat appliances, patio heaters and more. Their gauges tell users the amount of propane left in the tank, letting users know when it's time to refill the tank. Also, these gauges alert users to dangerous gas leaks, allowing users to replace a damaged tank before it becomes a serious safety issue.

GasWatchTM has two different models of propane tank gauges in their product line. Shoppers can choose between the GasWatch - Model 212 or the GasWatch - Model 212E. Both are UL approved propane tank level indicators with colored gauges that are easy to read. When the needle is in the red, it's time to trade out the tank. Both models include an emergency flow limiter, which limits the flow of gas in the event of a fire. In the event of an emergency, a tank gauge with a flow limiter may help give the user enough time to put out the fire before the situation really gets out of control. For safety's sake, it's strongly recommended that users choose a gauge that includes a flow limiter.

The GasWatch - Model 212E is the upgraded version of the 212. In addition to the standard features on both of these propane tank gauges, the 212E also comes with an audible alarm to alert users to low gas levels and gas leaks. It also comes with a remote LED display that can be mounted in a more convenient location on the grill using the included Velcro patch. The 212E is available for only a few dollars more than the standard 212, and is definitely the best value for the money.

Both the GasWatch - Model 212 and the GasWatch - Model 212E can be purchased for less than $25. Considering how easy these propane tank gauges make it for users to determine the levels of propane in their tanks and to detect dangerous leaks, propane users should seriously consider adding these accessories to their "must have" list of tank supplies. These are trusted brand name products that have been featured in reputable sources like Good Housekeeping and HGTV.
